The rebuilt Town of Colonial Beach Municipal Pier on the south end of the Boardwalk caters to every fisherman as it reaches 500 feet into the river. Plus, you can go Crabbing during the season! Don’t miss the annual Colonial Beach Rockfish Tournament which is held in early November!
The influence of the local artist community is evident throughout the historic Town of Colonial Beach, Virginia. The Colonial Beach Artists’ Guild invites you to view great art and enjoy live music at the Second Friday Art Walks year round. These events are free to the public and will feature talented artists and craftsmen on the Boardwalk as well as local businesses. When you see all the beautiful arts and crafts on display you will soon know why our town is an Art Mecca.
